Early rising, breakfast and 8:30 pick-up from the hotel again in the back of an open pickup truck.
The longtail boat was waiting for us to take us to Koh Ngai.
More than an hour I spent talking to a very nice Dutch guy, who was married to a French girl and they live in Spain, where they own some houses for rent.
The first snorkeling spot was near a cliff ,where we had to jump from the boat to get into the water.
It was fascinating to swim in a school of Big eye snappers.
I enjoyed looking at all the beautiful fishes in the warm sea so that they almost left without me, they had already removed the ladder to get into the boat, when the Dutch guy told them I was missing, thank you Bas!!!
After a short journey we arrived at the pier of Koh Ngai resort, where we received a plate with rice on which we could add some cooked vegetables and chicken.
We spent the rest of the afternoon on the island, while others went to visit other islands, the snorkeling from the beach was also very nice and I spotted other species, like very big sea cucumber, sea orchid's, see plants and Coral, but a lot of it was dead, which is terrible to think because in a few years it will not exist anymore.
Finally, an hour late, the longtail came and brought us back to our island.
It was a very nice and rewarding trip.

Goede terugvlucht (ik zou maar bijboeken als ik jullie was, hier troosteloos)
Heerlijk idee om te zwemmen in de zee... Neem al je ervaringen maar lekker mee zodat je er hier nog heerlijk van kan nagenieten... Hier regent het namelijk en is het grijs en grauw, winderig en koud... So be prepared...
