Thailand 2017
6 februari 2017 - Bangkok, Thailand
The plan for today was to take the boat over the river to get to the temple area, so we did and it was fantastic.
We visted 3 temples and the Royal Palace.
While we were passing the palace, we understood that it was the kings birthday, and because of this event, the king was distributing water and lunches to people that were passing on the sidewalk along the palace. Maggy asked if we could have some water and we received a full free lunch, it was simple but nice.
So in a way we had lunch with the King.
After all the temple visits, we went back to the hotel for a jump in the pool, (a dive is not possible as the pool is only 110 cm deep.
Before dinner, on our way to Khao San road, we found a nice massage salon, where we got a foot massage, this was heaven for our feet.
So as you understand, a great day again.
Tomorrow we will be guided in Bangkok on a bicycle, to visit Chinatown and the floating market.
As always I will keep you posted.
