Thailand 2017

OK, we visited Cambodja on 8 an 9 February, it was an experience. First the Guest house was not totally what we expected, it looked great, but the room was not really clean, the shower was not separated by any curtain or so, and the sink was blocked.The bed was not very nice and the sheets were to small. But the pool was great and the pick up at the airport to.

If we compare Cambodia to Thailand, it is a very different environment, the streets are really dirty in Cambodia and everything is more expensive.

Anyhow, the area around the Ankor Wat heritage, was impressive and beautiful, unbelievable how people were able to make this in the ancient times and Middle Ages.
Giant trees are growing in and over the temple wall's.

In the temple of Neak Preah there was a monk who sold wool bracelets and blessings, it was a very old man and I decided to buy his bracelet and blessings. He put his hand on my head and as Maggy called it I felt Holy Holy.

Along the way we visited 6 Temples, and we saw, apes, cows and elephants.

At Ta Som we had to cross the flodded land to get to it, and that is when Maggy was bitten by at least 10 mosquitos. She is not pleased

In the evening we had dinner in the neighbourhood of our Hotel and packed our bags again for the flight to Chiang Mai.
